BMA Construction Engineers Inc. specializes in the engineering support of the construction industry. We provide engineering design for items ranging from a single piece of rigging to entire bridge falsework systems. BMA Construction Engineers Inc. provides peer review of engineered systems, pre bid consulting, and engineering support for construction planning. We also provide services focusing on field operations training and standards.

Netblaze Systems, Inc., located in Walnut Creak, CA---inland from the San Francisco Bay Area---is a network consulting and integration services provider. The company came to us with a request to help rebrand their online image and with strict instructions to avoid the cliche tech website.

The site needed to be a bit edgy, but clean and professional at the same time. Additionally, marketing messages and navigation should be self evident.

The result is a custom website design, created with simplicity and usability as the cornerstones.  The site is built on the Adobe Contribute website platform, with integrated homepage flash animation, dynamic javascript elements, web forms and Google Maps, all with latest SEO standards as the foundation.

Thank You Body, located in Myrtle Beach, SC, offers a broad selection of spa services and products. The company has been in business for several years, steadily improving their web presence.

Thank You Body recently contacted Applied Web Vitals to design and build a new e-commerce website for their spa and product busines, taking them beyond the do-it-yourself theshold.

The website is built on an advanced Adobe Dreamweaver template structure to allow for full Adobe Contribute accessibility.  Additionally, an e-commerce application is integrated into the website design, providing a seamless shopping experience for their customers all within their own site.

This spa website incorporates dynamically generated gift certificates, an integrated affiliate program, product vs. service category seperatoin---and last but not least---self-edit capabilities so the owners can manage the with without special technical skills.

Applied Web Vitals is proud to be a web developer of choice for the Citizen Group, a world-class San Francisco-based branding and design firm. Protect The Human is another Amnesty International special project that Citizen Group brought Applied Web Vitals in to write the code for. This one page project incorporates XHTML, CSS, Flash, Action Script and Java Script.

Garnet Consulting is a Miami-based company that helps to identify and recruit qualified patients for clinical research studies.  The company’s new website, referpatients.com, is specifically designed as a tool to gather patient referrals.  To foster the recruitment process, the site aims to build a Partner Network, allowing Referral Network Partners to join and earn money by referring potential clinical study patients to Garnet Consulting. The site structure and project incorporates XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Java Script.

Applied Web Vitals helped take The Teak Hut, a South Carolina brick-&-mortar business, to a larger market with a new e-commerce website. The site's design needed to reflect the quality of the company's product--indoor and outdoor teak furniture. The site also needed to be built in a way that the client would have complete control of of the site for editing and updates. Built on the Contribute CMS with an integrated shopping cart application, The Teak Hut has their hands on the wheel and can manage virtually every aspect of their new website.

Citizen Group hired us to bring this elegant design to life. Designed by Citizen for their client Amnesty International, the special project Eyes on Darfur raises public awareness about the ongoing genocide in Darfur. Our role was to write, test and implement the HTML, CSS and Java Script, based on the design mock-up and wireframe.

The client, proficient in HTML and graphic design, brought us on to implement an in-house e-commerce solution. A PHP, MySQL shopping cart application was integrated into the existing site design, with additional menu and SEO enhancements made along the way.

This full site design and development project started with the creation of a new brand. Designed to speak to the audience of this swim instruction and water safety business, YardSwim.com is energetic and informative. The site is built on a content management system, uses Java Script and advanced CSS and employs several complex web forms.

The Oakland, California-based non-profit, Hopalong Animal Rescue, needed a new site that would "move animals." The organization had an initial site design commissioned, but found it unusable if they couldn't manage it themselves. The site was rebuilt on a content management system, incorporating the latest SEO techniques and several needed design enhancements.
