Can you suggest some reasons why this email goes directly to my spam/junk email folder?

We are thinking about using Vertical Response as our email marketing platform.

Is this the spam/junk folder in your local Outlook program or on the Exchange Server? If local Outlook, the primary filter definitions are outside your control, so we won’t try to adjust any settings there. Following are some possible reasons the email was sent to your junk folder

    1. The email has no subject
    2. Some information in the email header doesn’t jive – like server address and from email address don’t match (can you send me a test directly from Vertical Respons so I can look at the header in the source code?)
    3. The email is in HTML format
    4. Microsoft Outlook’s junk filter definitions recognize the sending server as a blacklisted IP
    5. Some possible combination of the above

Send me a test and I’ll take a closer look.
